SECOND CHAIR CHAMPIONS

In Part 3 of our A PART OF THE HEART Series, we're challenged to move beyond being mere consumers or contributors in our faith journey to becoming true champions for God's kingdom. The sermon draws inspiration from the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2, where Peter, backed by the other apostles, boldly proclaimed the gospel. This unity and collective courage serve as a model for us today. We're reminded that 'we go together' - our faith isn't just an individual pursuit, but a communal effort to build God's kingdom. The message emphasizes the danger of the 'bystander effect' in our spiritual lives, urging us to actively intervene and share our faith rather than remaining passive. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to ask ourselves: Are we truly all in, heart and soul, for God's mission? Are we ready to step up and be the champions our churches and communities need?
